Jin Mao Building is located in Shanghai, China. This building was built in 1998 and was fully operational in April 1999. It was designed by the Chicago office of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. It is very tall skyscraper with 88 floors. The style of the building is modern global city. The building is located on a 24 000 m² plot of land near the Lujiazui metro station and has 3 main entrances to the lobby, two for the office portion and one for the hotel.The exterior curtain wall is made of glass, stainless steel, aluminium, and granite, and is criss-crossed by complex latticework cladding made of aluminum alloy pipes. It is one of the tallest buildings in China and is used for offices and hotel.
