There have many type of food in Malaysia. One of the famous foods in Kodiang, Kedah is pasembor. Pasembor is an Indian Rojak and is a firm favourite among Northern foodies. The ingredients of this pasembor consists of shredded cucumber, yam bean, bean sprouts, deep fried bean curds (tofu), boiled potatoes, boiled eggs, prawn fritters and prawn patties. The spicy sauce is made fragrant with ground peanuts and sesame seeds. It almost the same as gravy “gado gado” or almost similar with gravy satay where his gravy's principal ingredient is ground peanut in grind or am being pounded fine. Finally, place all the ingredients on a serving plate and garnish it with shredded vegetables. Then, spoon the thick sauce over it. Pasembor usually eaten in the afternoons. Pasembor Penang in Padang Kota also as if pasembor Kodiang but his price a bit expensive and his gravy more redness.
