The Empire State Building is located in New York. It is designed by Gregory Johnson and the architects were Shreve, Lamb and Harmon, which produced the building drawings in just two weeks.The Empire State Building was built between the years 1929 and 1931. It is a very tall skyscraper with 102 floors. It is the world's tallest building for more than forty years with 443 metres high. Unlike most of today's tall buildings, the Empire State Building features is classic. It is made of glass, steel and aluminium. The lobby is three stories high and features an aluminum relief of the skyscraper without the antenna. The north corridor contains eight illuminated panels, created by Roy Sparkia and Renee Nemorov in 1963. The Empire State Building has one of the most popular outdoor observatories in the world, which is visited by over 110 million people.
